Comrie Community Cinema was originally known as Comrie Cinema & Events club. We started with a Lottery Grant in 2008 supported by the structure of the Comrie Development Trust. Fantastic equipment was bought with this grant to provide a real cinema experience without having to drive 50 miles on a dark winter night!  

We are a non profit organisation and registered Scottish Incorporated Charitable Organisation (no SC054441).  Volunteers deliver this service, and  we cover the costs of licence, and  venue for all screenings.  All proceeds go back to Comrie Community Cinema to pay for these overheads, insurance & for upkeep of equipment.

We are happy to hire out the equipment within the village of Comrie and provide a projectionist for events and functions.
